 In Africa, Covid-19 finds a great ally in poverty: the lack of medical infrastructures, limited skills and long distances make the planning of the vaccination campaign complicated, since the beginning of the pandemic, about 4 million infections have been recorded and more than 100,000 dead.  At the moment the biggest obstacle is the lack of the necessary funds to purchase vaccines, at the current pace it is estimated that Africa would take at least three years to vaccinate 60% of the population.
 In recent months, ANIECEB's response   the health emergency was timely and today the actions to combat Covid-19 continue on the front of guaranteeing access to vaccines:  we support governments in the complex management of vaccine distribution and storage, train health personnel on their correct administration, mobilize and inform communities on the importance of vaccination.
